The Government of Assam has released a massive recruitment notification through the Commissionerate of Panchayat & Rural Development (CPRD), Assam for 1508 contractual posts under flagship rural development schemes like:
- Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA)
- Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G)
- Finance Commission Grants

Accredited Engineer (MGNREGA)
- Total Posts: 291
- Salary: ₹18,000 per month
- Age Limit: 18–40 years
- Qualification:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Computer Application (Mandatory)
- Mobile application proficiency (Desirable)
Role: Field engineering support, project coordination, and mobile-based monitoring.
Gram Panchayat Coordinator (PMAY-G / Finance Commission)
- Total Posts: 462
- Salary: ₹15,000 per month
- Qualification:
- Graduate (Minimum 50%)
- 6-month Diploma in Computer Application
- Mobile application knowledge
Role: Scheme coordination, database management, community liaison.
Computer Assistant (MGNREGA)
- Total Posts: 291
- Salary: ₹15,000 per month
- Qualification:
- Graduate (Minimum 50%)
- 6-month Diploma in Computer Application
Role: Digital data management and beneficiary documentation.
Gram Rozgar Sahayak (MGNREGA)

Role: Ground-level scheme implementation and worker coordination.

- PH Candidates: 10 years

Selection Process
Stage 1: Written Examination (OMR Based)
- Total Marks: 75
- Questions: 75 (1 mark each)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Negative Marking:
- 0.25 for 1-mark question
- 0.5 for 2-mark question
Paper I: For Coordinator, Computer Assistant, Gram Rozgar Sahayak
Paper II: For Accredited Engineer
Stage 2: Viva Voce
- 25 Marks
- Only qualified candidates eligible
Stage 3: Final Merit List
- Based on Written + Viva
- Separate merit lists per category & post
Tie-Breaker Rule:
- Older candidate preferred
- Higher qualification preferred (if age same)
